It’s been exactly two years since Inch Worm 1.0 hit the app store. Since then the quality and sophistication has improved, and the White Pixels collection has grown to four puzzle games.
Building the Audience
My satisfaction comes from kids playing these games and deepening their critical thinking skills. I’m spending some time this fall trying to build the audience.
These apps have a surprising international market, with downloads from 30+ different countries. All four apps occasionally break into the top 100, and even the top 10 in several categories (Kids 9-11, Educational Games, Family Games, and Puzzle Games) – in the Czech Republic, thanks to Mensa ČR. It’s a lot tougher in the bigger markets, where I’m still waiting for my big break.
Ways to Help
App Store star ratings and reviews are essential. If you and your kids have enjoyed these games, head back to the App Store and let others know. You can also help spread the word on social media. Thanks for your help!
